Once your toddler turns 2, her old baby toys aren’t nearly as exciting as they once were.
Now is the perfect time to introduce a few new age appropriate toys that will keep your toddler entertained and help him learn new skills.
The best toys for toddlers at this age will be ones that
- Encourage your 2-year-old to use their imagination
- Strengthen their fine and gross motor skills
- Improve hand-eye coordination
- Help them start recognizing colors, shapes, and numbers
- Encourage them to be active
- Keep them entertained long enough for you to finish sipping your morning coffee (I see you, mama!)
- And, preferably, don’t require you to keep buying battery replacements– As a toddler mom myself, I’m not a fan of those noisy toys that drain batteries.
Here are a few of our favorites!
